Data Ownership

You own the data. We help to keep it safe.

We have made it easy for you to move data out, similar to the ease of moving data in, and we will not hold you hostage for this. At any point in time, should you decide to break up with Helm (which we certainly hope not!), you are free to take it with you! Subsequently, all backups will be kept for only 90 days after your request for cancellation of our services, and will be strictly removed from the database servers thereafter.

Data Encryption

Bank-level security. Your data’s safety is our priority.

We have your data secured, both at rest and in-transit. All data is encrypted using the industry-standard AES-256 encryption algorithm. Leave it to us to stay abreast of the newest developments, and we will monitor and keep our encryption techniques up-to-date with the latest industry standards.

Access Logging

Know who does what.

We work with you to implement proper access rights control in your organisation, and we have measures in place to track data access and data movements. Suspicious attempts to access or remove data will be flagged out for further investigation. Leave it to us to provide you with the necessary logs, and you can discover a potential breach before it even happens.

High Availability

99.99% uptime.

We believe in having our services up 100% of the time but let’s face it, we will not be able to achieve it since we are not in control of the underlying network infrastructure and the physical data centers located globally. In the event of a connectivity outage, you will still have access to Helm (offline mode) with temporarily restricted functionality. Leave it to us to worry about how the newly created data on your local machine will sync up with the rest of the cloud servers subsequently, and you can focus on doing business as usual.

Backups

Daily backups. Redundancy is key.

We have your back covered. Your data on Helm is backed up daily on our cloud servers and stored in multiple locations to remove the critical pitfall of a single point of failure. Leave it to us to worry about the data storage and backup, and you can focus on running the business and the operations.

Security Updates

Keeping up with industry developments. Patch regularly.

We keep an eye out for security issues and identified vulnerabilities at large, and ensure that our software is regularly updated to address them at the earliest. We make this our priority. Leave it to us to monitor the industry at large, and we will keep you updated on the actions we are taking upon the discovery of a vulnerability that affects us.
